Export Fresh & Petite Bouche
From humble beginnings in 1999 that included one grower, one van and exceptional produce, ex-chefs Tony Mann and Paul Bottell had a sense that the time was right for their new venture.
In 2012, after many years selling to the Sydney market scene, Export Fresh branched out to purchase an old farm that could be transformed into a working farm. With a focus on hydroponically-grown leaves, edible flowers and gourmet vegetable lines, the new product lines went on to become their signature, Petite Bouche Range.
As the Petite Bouche produce and customer base continued to grow in Sydney, it was clear that the time was right to expand to a bigger farm. The opportunity came in 2016 when Tony Mann went to visit a farm in Mount Nathan, Queensland. After seeing the farm, he knew that this would become the new home for Petite Bouche and enable Export Fresh to build a foragers wonderland. The farm launched in early 2017 and now produces for Sydney and Brisbane markets.
Fast forward to 2020 and they have grown their portfolio of produce exponentially to encompass producers from around Australia and the largest range of micro herbs in the country.
Tony and Paul continue to innovate and are market leaders in speciality lines for many of Australia's top kitchens and elite chefs. The brand has become second to none for quality within the market place, largely due to the critical eye cast upon the produce on a daily basis by the Export Fresh team. We are incredibly proud of our association with the group and excited to be able to share their amazing produce with Hunter locals.
